There are many art movements like cubism and futurism

There are many art movements like cubism and futurism…and one of them is surrealism, which I decide to write about it in this report.

Surrealism background:
Surrealism it’s an art from the world of imagination which is not real, its top known for visual artworks. Moreover, it was founded by the French write ; poet André Breton surrealism in Paris (France – Belgium) and it was in the early 1920s. and this art was developed from Dadaism activities during (world war1). Famous artists and their artworks:
There are many famous artists connected to surrealism which is still influenced by art to these days such as: Salvador Dali, Giorgio De Chirico, Rene Magritte and Joan. I will choose only 2 artists to write about them and their works.

First Salvador Dali is the most famous surrealist and he was born in Spain. He studies art, poetry and mathematics. His artistic journey began after he went to Paris and met with 2 artists: Picasso, Magritte and Miró. His famous painting was (The persistence of memory, 1931) it presents some clocks are melting and it’s the most popular part in the painting, he was inspired by melting camembert cheese. There is a combination between a hard and soft which is perplexing and in the same time it’s interesting to look at this painting. Furthermore, the slopes of Cataquez that is where Dali is from Catalonia.

Second Rene Magritte is a Belgian surrealist artist and he was born in Belgium. He has both philosophical and poetic content which match to certain social and mental directions. Rene first artwork
